OUR THERAPISTS

Kjersten Starr

Founder • Level 4 Master Therapist • Professional Nervous System Profiler

For more than 15 years, Kjersten has helped people understand the connections hiding beneath their pain—not simply chase the place that hurts the loudest.

Her work blends advanced functional bodywork, trigger-point therapy, deep-tissue techniques, lymphatic care, Thai Massage, Reiki, yoga, and nervous-system education with the heart of a Montessori Directress.

She is especially passionate about complicated bodies, long injury histories, persistent patterns, the connection between mind and body and the wonderfully nerdy question: “But why is your body doing that?”

After years of trying to personally carry every part of the clinic, Kjersten is stepping more fully into her role as Founder—guiding the vision, developing practitioners, creating programs, and ensuring Symmetry and Balance remains a place where people are treated like whole humans.

Her philosophy: The body keeps the score—but with the right support, it can also learn a new story.-

Belinda Neff

Clinical Medical Liaison Director  • Level 3 Advanced Therapist • Resident Body Detective

Belinda brings sharp clinical thinking, steady confidence, and an impressive collection of specialized skills to every session. Her work includes abdominal and visceral therapy, precision neuromuscular assessment, prenatal and postnatal massage, and care for clients navigating hypermobility and complex pain patterns.

As our Clinical Medical Liaison Director, Belinda works closely with Dr. Lisa to help ensure the care provided throughout our clinic is safe, thoughtful, and effective for every patient we treat. She serves as the clinic’s primary point of contact with Dr. Lisa, helping our practitioners recognize when collaboration, modification, or referral may be needed.

Just as importantly, Belinda is relentlessly curious. When she encounters something she doesn’t know, she pursues the education, research, and professional collaboration necessary to understand it. That commitment makes her an invaluable clinical resource for both our patients and our team.

Her philosophy: Complicated does not mean hopeless. It usually means we need to ask better questions.

Megan Johnson

Relationship & Marketing Director • Level 2 Established Therapist • Community Connector

Megan blends therapeutic bodywork with yoga, Reiki, sound healing, and Ayurvedic principles to create sessions that support both physical relief and nervous-system regulation. Her intuitive, integrative approach is especially valuable for clients who need space to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and feel supported as a whole person.

She believes healing should not feel rigid or impersonal. Every session is thoughtfully adapted to the person in front of her, combining skilled hands-on care with warmth, curiosity, and genuine human connection.

As Relationship and Marketing Director, Megan carries that same gift beyond the treatment room. She helps our clinic build meaningful community partnerships, create inclusive programming, and ensure the people connected to Symmetry and Balance continue to feel seen, welcomed, and involved.

Her philosophy: Healing grows through connection—to your body, your community, and yourself.

Kimberly Hein-Beardsley

Clinic Director • Lead Holistic Coach • Professional Chaos Translator

Kim helps people find clarity when life feels tangled, overwhelming, or completely off-axis. Her approach combines holistic life coaching, nervous-system awareness, Reiki, and decades of experience supporting people through burnout, stress, major transitions, relationship challenges, and personal growth.

With a professional background as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Board Certified Coach, and Doctor of Divinity in Metaphysical Sciences, Kim brings both depth and practicality to her work. She creates a supportive space where clients can understand their patterns, reconnect with their values, and turn insight into meaningful action.

As Clinic Director, Kim also helps transform the heart and vision of Symmetry and Balance into sustainable systems. She guides operations, supports our practitioners, develops coaching programs and workshops, and ensures that growth never comes at the expense of the humans doing the growing.

Her philosophy: You do not need someone to fix you. Sometimes you need someone to help you hear yourself clearly enough to find your next step.
